Introducing Support in Stride
Navigating life with a prosthesis or orthosis presents unique experiences and challenges. Recognizing the profound value of shared understanding and mutual encouragement, Ottobock.care is proud to partner with Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital to establish a new peer support group for the Central Pennsylvania community.
Launching this July, Support in Stride is a complimentary, in-person group designed to provide a dedicated space for individuals to connect, share experiences, and find support among peers.
What is Support in Stride?
Support in Stride offers a welcoming and inclusive environment for individuals living with limb loss, limb difference, or utilizing orthotic devices. This group aims to foster a strong community, provide access to beneficial resources, and facilitate meaningful connections in a relaxed, yet professionally supported, setting.
Co-sponsored by Ottobock.care and Encompass Health, the group is open to anyone seeking connection and encouragement, whether they are new to their journey or possess years of experience.
What to Expect
Each session is structured to encourage genuine interaction and support. Attendees will have the opportunity to:

📍Location: Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Mechanicsburg

🕔 Time: 3:30 PM on the third Thursday of every other month, commencing in July.
The hospital's location offers convenient access for residents of nearby communities, including Camp Hill, Carlisle, Lemoyne, Dillsburg, and Harrisburg.
